On September 27th 2022, Palintest partner Cabola was presented with the prize for this year’s product innovation of the year at Idrættens Branchedage in Vejen, Denmark. The product that secured Cabola the award was our all new Lumiso Pooltest Expert.

In the jury’s assessment, great emphasis was placed on Lumiso Pooltest Expert’s innovative way of handling daily water testing. In addition, elements such as the smart design, big intuitive interface and the product being very easy to use with no need for training, contributed to the Lumiso Pooltest Expert ending up as the winner of the innovation of the year award.

This is a huge achievement not only for Palintest but also for Cabola as they successfully begin to introduce the Lumiso Pooltest Expert into their markets.

It is vital that municipal authorities can employ accurate testing methods to identify sources of lead contamination. Multiple techniques including Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP/MS) and Anodic Stripping Voltammetry (ASV) can be used to detect lead in water – in this article we review these methods in more detail.
