ChlordioXense Check Standards
Part Code: CS190View Details
Measure chlorine dioxide with this USEPA approved technology. The ChlordioXense offers optimal precision and accuracy in applications such as drinking water, institutional hygiene, cooling tower and food manufacturing.
Chlorine dioxide has a number of advantages as a disinfectant but measurement methods in the field can be difficult to carry out repeatably. The ChlordioXense uses unique disposable sensor technology to remove operator dependence and deliver accurate chlorine dioxide results.
Sensor technology offers significant advantages compared to alternative measurement techniques. Simple measurement techniques coupled with state-of-the-art electronic instruments ensure even the lowest concentrations can be determined with confidence. Suitable for even the most difficult samples, the sensor technique is not affected by solids or sample colour.
Fill the sample container, insert the sensor and close the lid is often all that is required.
Download data sets for traceability and data management. These instruments also feature self-diagnostic functionality and automatic selection and performance of test methods.
At the heart of Palintest Sensor Technologies are the pre-calibrated, single-use, disposable electrodes incorporating a patented micro-electrode array. Reagents are embedded in the electrode, meaning no reagent preparation steps for the operator, and ensuring precise control of the measurement process is achieved in any situation.

Rather than using traditional disinfectants which have long-lasting residuals and can form organic disinfection by-products, chlorine dioxide offers significant advantages for process water applications.View
The analysis of chlorine dioxide and its oxychlorine by products in water is a difficult topic due to the volatility of chlorine dioxide and to the interferences from other species with standard test methods.View
Biocides are added to the water to prevent the build up of bacteria in the water that may lead to acid corrosion or the creation of sulphide based compounds. Bacterial growth can impair the production of oil and gas wells, and can be introduced into the fracking fluid from various sources including the source water and the proppant.View
Fuller’s have been brewing some of Britain’s most popular beers since 1845. Producing over 70,000 litres of beer every day comes with significant water management challenges.
