Photometric test for Nitrite (high range) in cooling and treated water

Notes:
Sample temperature needs to be below 30°C

Add 1 mL of sample to a photometer tube.

Fill to the 10 mL line with deionised water.

Use this to "blank" the instrument. Place in cell holder and press Blank.

Prepare sample by adding a Nitriphot No1 tablet. Then crush and stir.

Add a Nitriphot No2 tablet and crush vigorously, then stir.

Without delay, place tube in cell holder and press Measure.
07
Allow timer to count down 2 minutes. The concentration of Nitrite will then be displayed.
